S11 - Brains, bytes, and budgets
Rewiring Europe's future
Session description
Session format: Panel discussion, fireside chat and scenariosWhat if Europe's greatest untapped resource isn't beneath it's soil, but in its brains? As neurotechnology advances and demand for cognitive, emotional, and social skills grows, this session explores how brain health and the emerging brain economy can drive more inclusive prosperity. Looking through the lens of brain health, we examine how neurotech could be deployed ethically and equitably to strengthen societal cohesion and economic resilience. From education and workforce innovation to brain health and ageing, this discussion connects science, policy, and lived experience to ask: how can Europe rewire its social contract for the neuro age?
